2023 NYFF: Trân Anh Hùng, Garth Davis, Hayao Miyazaki, Harmony Korine & Steve McQueen in Spotlight Section

Last year’s Spotlight Section managed to nab pair of highly sought-after titles in Bones and All and Women Talking and a pair of world premieres in She Said and Till. For 2023, Bradley Cooper’s Maestro is being joined by some of the first episodes to Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie’s “The Curse” and the world premiere of Garth DavisFoe – a highly anticipated which Amazon Studios feature with Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal. They’ll be joined by Trân Anh Hùng‘s savoury The Pot-au-Feu (heading to Telluride) and the U.S premiere of The Boy and the Heron by Hayao Miyazaki (just selected as the opening film for the San Sebastian Festival).
