Exclusive TIFF Clip: Moving Towards the Light in Hlynur Palmason’s “Winter Brothers”

Date:

Winner of Best Actor (Elliott Crosset) at its Locarno premiere and spotlighting here at TIFF, we got an exclusive clip ahead of the North American Premiere for Winter Brothers (Vinterbrodre).

In exclusive traveling shot bliss clip below, featured in the 5:3 ratio, Icelandic writer-director Hlynur Palmason‘s debut feature runs deep underground and doesn’t offer much reprieve from the claustrophobic-friendly setting and some folks are mentioning the Scandi-helmer similar in style to that of Roy Andersson. Here are the TIFF screenings:

11th – 7:30pm / Bell Lightbox 4
13th – 9:30pm / Jackman Hall
16th – 9:30am / Scotiabank 8

Sales are being handled by New Europe Film Sales.
